Supporting People
The Supporting People programme is a grant that is paid to some people to cover the costs of the support service they receive. This covers a whole range of support services including sheltered housing.
If you are in receipt of housing benefit and in receipt of a support service then you should also receive a Supporting People grant. Housing costs continue to be covered by housing benefit for those eligible persons.
