
We provide specialist housing in a number of schemes for older tenants, all around the borough. The schemes have a variety of home types catering for older people. All have 24-hour emergency cover plus the added security of a Scheme Manager who looks after one or more schemes.
The aim of this type of housing is to provide individual, easily managed homes which allow older people to keep their privacy, dignity and independence. The Scheme Manager can organise a whole range of services to help, but sheltered housing is not meant to provide nursing care.
