Community Housing Officers & Customer Services Officers

Tenant Enforcement Officers
- Co-ordinate a multi-agency response to tackle the causes and consequences of anti-social behaviour
- Advise and guide housing officers which action to take against offenders(whether or not they are tenants)
- Co-ordinate legal remedies such as Injunctions, Anti-Social Behaviour Orders, etc
- In serious cases support the victim while there are any risks of reprisal
Money Advisor
- To aid and assist housing officers with tenants who have financial problems
- Maximise customers income and negotiate with creditors to reduce debt
- To assist customers with information on any agencies that may be able to help with their financial difficulties
- Sheltered Housing
- Assessing clients for sheltered accommodation
- Advising and helping with Housing Benefits claims
- Day to day management of sheltered housing service
- Helping and advising sheltered scheme managers with any problems
Business Services Team
- Business planning, budgets and accounting for the company
- Ensuring that all financial documentation e.g. Direct Debits, Standing Orders etc are processed in the correct manner
- Ensuring that the correct monies are posted onto the Academy system
- Dealing with all Right to Buy applications
Leasehold Team
- Process Rights to Buy on flats to enable the correct service charges to be applied
- Transfer of the service charges when the current leaseholder sells their property
- Setting up Direct Debits for the collection of service charges
- Management & monitoring arrears
- Monitoring of the cleaning contract
- Consultation with leaseholders on Major Works and repairs
- Liaise on Major Works contracts

- Planned maintenance
- Repairs of Corporate, Council and Leasehold properties
- Responsive repairs
- Management & Delivery of Housing Investment Programme
