Renting A Home From Us

When you sign your tenancy agreement with us, you are entering into a contract with us. Both sides agree to keep to certain conditions. The Conditions of Tenancy document tells you what these are.

You may have the right to buy your home if you are a secure tenant of a Colchester Borough Council. There are various sources of information on the right to buy available:

  • You can obtain information on applying to Colchester Borough Council to apply for the 'Right to Buy' here.
  • You can also obtain advice from direct.gov.uk.
  • Shelter are a housing advice organisation and also provide information.
