
Historically, residents had suffered from garden thefts and people throwing stuff into their walls into the gardens.
They were given £335 to put special anti-climb paint on the back walls at their homes.

Over the years the residents have suffered from various degrees of antisocial behaviour. This included young people hanging around the shop drinking, playing football, damaging gardens and using abusive language. They were given £3,000 to install a two meter metal fence with a gate.
One resident of Brittany Way said, "Since the gate was erected it has been a pleasure to live here our quality of life has improved and we are now able to plant flowers in our garden without fear of them being destroyed, the gates give us peace of mind”
