Tenants from Colchester have recently attended the following courses:

  • Using IT to produce Community Newspapers
  • Fundraising Strategy

Here is a report from one of our tenants about her experience.

" Accommodation was comfortable and more than adequate. The food was wonderful, but only if you don't insist on a fat free diet, but why complain, I loved every greedy moment of it! Trafford Hall staff are excellent hosts, each and every one of them are prepared to put themselves out to make sure we were comfortable. The course itself covered all aspects of funding, guiding us towards finding the most appropriate funding bodies. From my personal point of view it has taught me how to break down large projects into small, manageable bite-sized pieces. As a result of this course I am hoping to take my NVQ level 3 and I feel I could offer help and support to any groups who are looking for funding sources.

Was the course worthwhile? In a word: Invaluable"

If you would like to know more about Trafford Hall, or would like to attend a course please contact Gill Thomson on 01206 507897 or e mail gillian.thomson.cbhomes@colchester.gov.uk.
