
Colchester Borough Homes has a number of focus groups that work with tenants and leaseholders to consider various issues. The main focus groups are:
– meet 5 times a year and look at ways of improving services and service standards. The team are involved in ‘Mystery Shopping’ exercises and regularly review our letters and leaflets.
– meet at various times throughout the year and look at how CBH deal with ASB. Members attend training courses to help develop ideas for combating ASB. These work groups also decide how some of our budgets are spent.
- meet at various times throughout the year and look at ways to improve estates, neighbourhoods and communities. This committee decide on the allocation of the Community Improvement Grants.
- Regular meetings take place to discuss issues that are important to people with disabilities. We work in partnership with other agencies such as Colchester Access Group. Contact Rebecca King on 01206 282353 for further information.
- meets 5 times a year and review the services of our repairs and decent homes improvement service. The group also analyse the compliments and complaints received from customers.
– this group helps us to produce interesting, informative and attractive newsletter, making sure that they are relevant to tenants and leaseholders.
