Elfreda House was built in 1964 and modernised in 1996. The scheme is made up of 25 flatlets and 6 one-bedroom flats in a two-storey building with a lift between floors. Elfreda House offers comfortable, convenient and secure accommodation where you can enjoy your privacy and independence.

You can download it from here.
A door entry system is fitted at the entrance of Elfreda House. This security feature enables you to identify any visitors before you allow them into the building. You can relax in your home knowing it is safe.
A small car park at the rear of the building offers limited parking for tenants and their visitors. If friends or relatives wish to stay a fully furnished guest room is available. You can enjoy social and recreational activities in the spacious lounge. Seating is provided in the attractive landscaped garden.
Elfreda House has five bathrooms and two shower rooms. One shower room has a rollin shower suitable for wheelchair users. There are two well-equipped laundry rooms, one on each floor, and a drying area. For your convenience a mobile barber visits regularly. If you enjoy reading the mobile library service calls monthly with a wide variety of books including large print.
A 24-hour alarm call system is fitted to all the properties in the scheme. This links you to the Scheme Manager or Helpline when the Scheme Manager is off duty. The alarm call system offers you the reassurance that help is always available if you need it.
As part of their professional service the Scheme Manager will arrange a programme of social events and outings in consultation with tenants. Whilst this is an opportunity to socialise and make new friends there is no pressure on you to take part in any of these activities.
