Colchester Borough Homes beat 8 other finalists to win the Education and Lifelong Learning award at the 2009 Colchester Business Awards. The event was held on the 27th of November at Charter Hall in Colchester. Over five hundred people from businesses across Colchester attended this event.
The award is given to organisations and companies who invest in the training and development of their staff. Colchester Business Awards says these firms encourage and support people to gain the necessary qualifications, skills and confidence to maximise their contribution to business success.
Our Chief Executive, Greg Falvey, said "We were delighted to win this award and our thanks go to all those involved; it is recognition of the investment that Colchester Borough Homes makes in training its staff and customers."
The award was collected on the night by the Chair of the Board, Alison Inman.
