Town Centre
Built in 1983 the Dutch Quarter sheltered scheme is a dispersed scheme and includes Maidenburgh Street, George Street, Williams Walk and Ryegate Road. Each flat is unique and the town centre location makes it very popular. The scheme is made up of a range of one and two-bedroom flats including a flat that is suitable for wheelchair users.

Accommodation
The unique nature of the Dutch Quarter means there is no need for many of the communal facilities on offer at other schemes. However, there is a furnished guest flat if friends or relatives wish to stay and the Dutch Quarter parking scheme offers limited parking for tenants and their visitors.
A 24-hour alarm call system is fitted to all the properties in the scheme. This links you to the Scheme Manager or Helpline when the Scheme Manager is off duty. The alarm call system offers you the reassurance that help is always available if you need it.
Social Activities
As part of their professional service the Scheme Manager will arrange a programme of social events and outings in consultation with tenants. Whilst this is an opportunity to socialise and make new friends there is no pressure on you to take part in any of these activities.
