Stuart Pawsey Court was built in 1988 and is situated in the picturesque town of Wivenhoe. The scheme is made up of a range of flats and bungalows built around a central courtyard. The modern two-storey building contains 7 one-bedroom flats and 6 two-bedroom flats. There are 4 one-bedroom and 2 two-bedroom bungalows, one of which has been adapted for wheelchair users. Wivenhoe is well served by public transport with regular train and bus services to Clacton and Colchester town centre. Communal Facilities
A door entry system is fitted at Stuart Pawsey Court. This security feature enables you to identify any visitors before you allow them into the building. You can relax in your home knowing it is safe.
A large car park offers convenient parking for tenants and their visitors. You can enjoy social and recreational activities in the spacious lounge, which has its own kitchen. Seating is provided in the landscaped garden.
The lounge is wheelchair accessible and older residents of Wivenhoe are welcome to join in with any social activities that take place there.
A 24-hour alarm call system is fitted to all the properties in the scheme. This links you to the Scheme Manager or Helpline when the Scheme Manager is off duty. The alarm call system offers you the reassurance that help is always available if you need it.
Social Activities
As part of their professional service the Scheme Manager will arrange a programme of social events and outings in consultation with tenants. Whilst this is an opportunity to socialise and make new friends there is no pressure on you to take part in any of these activities.
