Mary Frank House has CCTV, which is monitored by the Scheme Manager. A door entry system is fitted at the main entrance of the scheme. This security feature enables you to identify any visitors before you allow them into the building. You can relax in your home knowing it is safe.
The two car parks offer ample parking for tenants and their visitors. Friends or relatives who wish to stay can use the guest room with bathroom en suite You can enjoy social and recreational activities in the spacious lounge, which has well stocked bookshelves and a supply of videos and puzzles. There is also a library room on the first floor.
Seating is provided in the attractive landscaped gardens. There are two shower rooms available if you want a shower. Both showers have been adapted so that tenants with disabilities can use them. A well-equipped laundry room and two drying areas are provided at the scheme.
For your convenience a mobile grocer and several hairdressers visit regularly. A chiropodist will call on request. If you enjoy reading the mobile library calls once a month with a wide variety of books including large print.
A 24-hour alarm call system is fitted to all the properties in the scheme. This links you to the Scheme Manager or Helpline when the Scheme Manager is off duty. The alarm call system offers you the reassurance that help is always available if you need it.

As part of their professional service the Scheme Manager will arrange a programme of social events and outings in consultation with tenants. Whilst this is an opportunity to socialise and make new friends there is no pressure on you to take part in any of these activities.

The rent will vary depending upon the size of property you are offered. The total weekly rent at Mary Frank House includes a service charge element as well as charges for gas, electricity, water rates, the services of the Scheme Manager and Helpline. You will be individually responsible for your council tax, house insurance and telephone bill.
If you are on a low income you may be entitled to help with your housing costs from Housing Benefit and a Supporting People Grant. You may also be entitled to other welfare benefits.
