
You might be allowed to buy your home. If you qualify for the Right To Buy scheme, you will be able to buy your home at a discount.
If your tenancy started before 18th January 2005, then you need to have been a secure tenant for two years. If your tenancy began after that date, then you need to have been a secure tenant for five years.
This depends on how many years you have been a tenant. The maximum discount you could get is £34,000.
